Engineering Fitters produce complex high value, low volume components or assemblies in full or part, using machines, equipment or systems, to the required specification. 

They will interpret drawings/specifications, plan their work and be required to check against quality standards and make adjustments as required based on their knowledge.

Engineering Fitters may typically pursue careers in mechanical, electrical, electronic, control systems, pipe fitting or instrumentation bias or operate across multiple disciplines depending on the type of products or assemblies of the business sector.

Apprentice Product Design & Development Technician

A Design Engineer studies, researches, and develops ideas for new products and the methods used to make them. The Design Engineer will be working on a wide range of bespoke rotating machinery, couplings and test beds. These must be functional, reliable and safe to use, whilst ensuring that they are as cost effective and efficient as possible.

Annual Salary: £15,969

Hours: 37 per week, Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 17:15, Friday 8:30 – 12:30

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineering Apprentice

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, your role is to provide a safe, high-quality, cost-effective maintenance service to site assets including preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance ensuring achievement of Factory Key Performance Indicators, targets and budgets.

Annual Salary: £19,000

Hours: 36 per week, Monday – Friday

Closing Date: 1st June 2025

Apprentice Machinist

You will be responsible for assisting in the operation of Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines used in the manufacturing process of aerospace components. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will learn how to set up, edit and operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.

Annual Salary: £15,488

Hours: 37 per week, Monday – Friday
