Information & Requirements

Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technicians will maintain the safety, integrity and effective operation of plant and equipment. They will work on various types of plant and equipment commonly found throughout Engineering Industry sectors.

They will be responsible for the quality of their own work, possibly others’ and ensuring the work is completed safely, meets stakeholder quality, time and budget requirements, whilst maintaining the efficient running of plant and equipment.

Career Paths

Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technicians may work as Electrical Technicians; Mechanical Technicians; Control & Instrumentation Technicians; Electrical System and Process Control Technicians; Electromechanical Technicians and Plant Operations Technicians.

To support the business and operational requirements of modern integrated engineered production plant and services, Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technicians will apply a range of conventional skills and knowledge to undertake engineering activities.

Your employer may offer opportunities to progress onto a higher apprenticeship or advance to gain a degree level qualification.

Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship

We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for Daventry Power Systems, UK. During your Apprenticeship with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

Food & Drink Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

A four- year academic and on the job apprenticeship to achieve the Food and Drink Multi-skilled Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship. During this time you will learn both mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines with the view to move into a full-time Maintenance Engineer role upon successful completion.

Annual Salary: £13,977

Hours: 40 per week, Monday – Friday 07:00 – 16:00

Technical Production Engineer Apprentice

This is an excellent opportunity to join world leaders in design and manufacture of refuse collection vehicles. Dennis Eagle is committed to developing their next generation of engineering talent and this Level 3 apprenticeship offers the successful candidate the opportunity to develop a broad range of practical and theoretical skills.

Annual Salary: £13,102

Hours: 37 per week, Monday – Thursday 8am until 4pm. Friday 8am until 12pm.
