• Ensure that plant and equipment perform to the required standard to facilitate production targets regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
  • Work on and learn a broad range of activities including installation, testing, fault-finding and the on-going planned maintenance of complex automated equipment.
  • Use and interpret a range of engineering data sources and supporting Documentation.
  • Maintain mechanical & automated equipment, fluid & pneumatic power equipment, electrical control equipment, process control equipment.
  • Minimise machinery downtime by carrying out preventative planned Maintenance.
  • Learn how to use and interpret a range of engineering data sources and supporting documentation.

Entry Requirements

We are seeking applications from candidates who have or are predicted to gain 5 x GCSEs (or equivalent). Grades must be A*-C / 9-5 for Maths and A*-C / 9-4 for English, Science and two other subjects.

Training to be Provided

  • Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence).
  • BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge).
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence).
